Applications and nominations are invited for the position of Director of Institute of Molecular and Genomic Medicine at the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI), Taiwan.
The Director is responsible for supervision of research programs within the institute, as well as for research collaboration with other sections of NHRI and outside institutions. Prospective candidates should have strong organizational, communicative, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with others at all levels inside and outside of NHRI. Applicants should have a doctorate (Ph.D. and/or M.D.) in biomedical sciences, molecular biology, genomics or related translational medicine fields and demonstrate a successful record of conducting interdisciplinary research.
Familiarity with global scientific and medical community and the ability to work effectively in Taiwan's research environment are preferred.
Interested applicants are requested to submit a complete Curriculum Vitae and a brief statement of research expertise, administrative experience, and vision or plan for the development of the Institute (one or two pages).
