1. About our group:

2. About the position:

We are seeking a Research Assistant to join our team. The position is project-based and affiliated with National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), Hsinchu Branch. In this position, you will carry out your role at NHRI. You will independently establish a standard high-throughput CRISPR screen and validation. You will work also closely with the PI and incoming lab mates to support daily operations, maintain high standards of safety and organization, and assist with ongoing research activities. This position is ideal for someone seeking hands-on experience in laboratory operations while contributing to cutting-edge scientific research.

3. About you:

4. In this position, you will: 

• Support lab stock management including reagent and supply inventory, ordering and receiving, and preparation of common solutions, with increasing independence as you develop familiarity with lab operations
• Help maintain lab organization and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety
• Perform mammalian cell culture and lentivirus preparation, including midiprep, virus QC, virus transduction.
• Collaborate closely with students and RAs in the lab to conduct high-throughput CRISPR experiments
• Translate findings from CRISPR screen to a therapeutic application in animal model
• Assist with research planning, execution, analysis, troubleshooting, and data record and interpretation with a high degree of independence and continued support from the rest of the team.
